Bruce was an auto mechanic for years. Donald L. Bevins, 83, of Williston died May 7, 2020, Diane Mary Lafayette passed away unexpectedly on June 18, 2020, at the age of 78. He had an interest in learning languages and studied multiple languages throughout his life, with a particular affinity for French and Spanish. He is survived by his children: Stacey Winchell of Burlington, Donald Santor and partner, Cindi Benoit of St. Albans; four grandchildren: Amy and Sarah Winchell and Justin and Tyler Santor; six great grandchildren; his mother, Helene Wilson; his siblings and spouses: Steve and Louise Thompson, Gary Thompson, Pam and Shawn Martell, Vickie and Gary Lavallee and Robert Wilson and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Rob was a kind soul, loved life, his family and friends. A founding pillar of the family, strength bounded in her bones, let her courageous heart leave comfort in the presence of unknown. Lila Mae (Shepard) Francis, age 99, of South Burlington, VT, passed away peacefully on Friday June 17th, 2022 in her home surrounded by loving family. She was born in Riverhead, NY and grew up in Mattituck, NY on the eastern end of Long Island. Davids family and friends celebrated and relaxed many days with him throughout the years. Watching from heavens window, her pride beams light to guide our roads, guiding winds flow from her wings, as her memory wraps around hearts her presence grows. She leaves behind a world of people who knew her through her writing, her fellow self-advocates, collaborating researchers, and her birth and extended chosen families. With his good heart, sincere charm and wicked sense of humor, he never sat alone. He enjoyed puttering around in his garage and raising chickens, along with spending time with his family.. He was drawn to water, whether it was a lake or ocean and he longed to be in the great outdoors as often as possible. He is also survived by his brothers: Scott Bouvier, Daniel Bouvier, Dean Bouvier and Ken Bouvier, his sister: Jackie Bouvier.
